Sertifikasi CHSE sebagai Fondasi Pariwisata Berkelanjutan: Analisis Efektivitas dan Peta Jalan Menuju Sertifikasi Hijau Global di Indonesia

Sektor pariwisata Indonesia menghadapi tantangan untuk mengintegrasikan praktik keberlanjutan di tengah meningkatnya kesadaran global akan isu lingkungan. Sebagai respons, pemerintah memperkenalkan sertifikasi Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environmental Sustainability (CHSE) sebagai bagian integral dari strategi pemulihan pascapandemi COVID-19 (Putro, 2024). Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran sertifikasi CHSE sebagai fondasi awal menuju pariwisata berkelanjutan, mengevaluasi efektivitasnya, serta mengidentifikasi kesenjangan antara standar CHSE dan sertifikasi hijau global yang lebih komprehensif. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan tinjauan literatur sistematis, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa CHSE telah berhasil membangun kembali kepercayaan konsumen dan mendorong kesadaran awal akan pentingnya aspek lingkungan dalam operasional pariwisata (Jurnal Unived, 2025; Salsabila, 2023). Namun, ditemukan bahwa komponen keberlanjutan lingkungan dalam CHSE sering kali bersifat minimal karena fokus utamanya pada protokol kesehatan dan keselamatan (Andini, 2024). Hambatan utama dalam adopsi sertifikasi yang lebih tinggi meliputi biaya implementasi, kurangnya pengetahuan, dan komitmen manajemen yang belum kuat (Haldorai et al., 2022). Penelitian ini merekomendasikan kolaborasi antara pemerintah, asosiasi industri, dan pelaku pariwisata untuk mendorong transisi ke sertifikasi hijau global seperti Green Key atau Green Globe sebagai investasi strategis jangka panjang.
