Penelitian ini menganalisis potensi transformasi kawasan industri menjadi destinasi pariwisata di Indonesia, mengkaji landasan teoretis dan kerangka implementasi praktis dalam konteks pasar pariwisata industri global. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis dengan memanfaatkan data sekunder dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), Kementerian Perindustrian, lembaga riset pasar internasional, serta jurnal akademik terindeks Q1/Q2 periode 2021–2025; analisis komparatif dilakukan terhadap model pariwisata industri yang berhasil di Jerman, Jepang, dan Polandia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan 165 kawasan industri, lebih dari 32.000 perusahaan manufaktur besar dan menengah, serta pasar pariwisata domestik senilai sekitar Rp2.360 triliun dengan 1,02 miliar perjalanan per tahun, Indonesia memiliki aset yang substansial untuk pengembangan pariwisata industri; pasar pariwisata industri global mencapai USD 17,2 miliar pada 2024 dengan proyeksi pertumbuhan tahunan 7,8% hingga 2035, sementara potensi ekonomi pariwisata industri Indonesia berkisar antara Rp10–50 triliun per tahun. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kerangka implementasi empat tahap yang mencakup pemetaan dan klasifikasi, pengembangan produk, standardisasi dan sertifikasi, serta pembentukan jaringan nasional, dengan kontribusi orisinal berupa integrasi teori ekonomi pengalaman, kerangka pelestarian warisan industri, dan pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan dalam konteks lanskap industri Indonesia yang unik.
