Pariwisata Domestik sebagai Penyelamat Industri: Strategi dan Implementasi di Indonesia

Pariwisata domestik telah menjadi penopang utama keberlangsungan industri pariwisata di tengah krisis global, khususnya pada masa pandemi COVID-19 yang memaksa penurunan drastis kunjungan wisatawan mancanegara. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis peran pariwisata domestik sebagai penyelamat industri pariwisata melalui tinjauan strategi dan implementasinya di Indonesia dan berbagai negara berdasarkan literatur terbaru (2021–2025). Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa strategi penguatan pariwisata domestik mencakup diversifikasi produk wisata lokal, digitalisasi promosi dan layanan, pemberian insentif perjalanan, serta kebijakan berbasis keberlanjutan (ScienceDirect, 2024; Tandfonline, 2023; STP Mataram, 2025). Implementasi di berbagai daerah—termasuk program "Work from Bali", pengembangan desa wisata, dan pariwisata inklusif—memperlihatkan keberhasilan dalam menggerakkan perekonomian lokal, meningkatkan okupansi hotel, serta memperluas lapangan kerja (PNB Repository, 2025; Nalanda Journal, 2023; Universitas Dumai, 2024). Namun, sejumlah tantangan masih muncul, meliputi keterbatasan infrastruktur, rendahnya literasi digital pelaku usaha, dan ketidakmerataan distribusi kunjungan wisatawan. Artikel ini merekomendasikan model kolaborasi multipihak antara pemerintah, swasta, akademisi, dan komunitas lokal, yang didukung oleh roadmap nasional pariwisata domestik yang terintegrasi dengan agenda pembangunan berkelanjutan (SDG 8 dan SDG 11).
